    Gayonetta!
so yeah, I was musing w/ some friends how Bayonetta looks really fun, but it's a shame I don't care about the "sexyness" of it...so I made a version for us queers!

[info]k1tsune found this space ork gem on the Da WAAGH BBS, but I have to admit this guy's modeling skills are down right amazing to the point I feel like just giving up on my seemingly pointless projects.

Studies on duck sex. Did you know that a male duck, known as a drake, can have an erection which is cork screwed in shape, in .3 seconds, at speeds of 1.3 meters per second? And that female ducks oviducts are also cork screwed, but in the opposite direction?

On December 19, 2009, the CBO released an estimate that the health reform bill would reduce the deficits by $132 billion. The problem with this estimate was something that the CBO made as plain as day: They can only estimate the bill as it is written and make no estimation of how likely it is that a particular part of the bill will be implemented as it is written.

My goal here was to satirize the fact that the health reform bill has been written with several parts that seem VERY unlikely (next to impossible) to be implemented as they are written. And yet, for consistency, the CBO makes no judgment call on the likelihood of the implementation. That's not their job.

Build-A-Bear accused of global warming indoctrination.

    Michael Calhoun Reporting

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- Christmas could be canceled and global warming is to blame. That's the plot of a series of web videos for children produced by Build-A-Bear Workshop.

The show's characters include a pair of math-savvy polar bears, a blue penguin with a balloon and Santa Claus. They band together on a mission to prevent the North Pole from melting before Christmas.

Critics claim it scares impressionable kids with a partisan, political message.

Obama KFC bucket sold in Japan.
    December 24th, 2009 by James
Spotted a earlier this month on display at a major chain of Japanese novelty stores (Exiciting Bookstore Village Vanguard):

It is a tissue holder shapped like a bucket of fried chicken. Colonel Sanders’ face has been replaced by a similarly-styled Barack Obama face, and also features a coin bank for change.

    The Filibuster and its Discontents.
Progressives want to get rid of the filibuster, the hold, and other minority protections in the Senate. But would strong majority control actually be better?

By David Parker | Newsweek Web Exclusive
    Dec 22, 2009

To many supporters of health-care reform, the Senate bill has been ruined—or at least badly damaged—by concessions made to ensure its passage. They blame the Senate's procedural rules, which allow individual senators to frustrate the will of the majority by using the filibuster to delay or prevent a vote by demanding unlimited debate on that proposal. Yet their arguments are often based on the assumption that simple majority rule is always desirable. It's not that simple.

    Up north
Well, here I sit in Vermont, visiting a friend called Starshadow, great guy, that. Later on this week we're having a tradtional christmas dinner, and besides that, hanging out all week and having fun. So that's where I'll be!

But the trip up here was HELL, owing to the fact that it snowed like hell, and was stuck in new york for a 4 hour delay, and we got off easy. I ate a large plain pizza whilst I waited, diet be damned.

And the bums in that penns station...they have to be part of a union. So many bums, all out begging away...fortunately my wallet was empty, so upon seeing an empty wallet, they left me alone. "First of all, I wanna wish ya a Merry Christmas...I just got robbed for 280.00!! Can you please help me out?" Must have lost all the money he made begging that day so far...

Homeless at christmas must be hell...I'm very thankfull I have a home to come home to, and friends who want to see me this holiday season. Things may be rough for some this Christmas, but I plan on enjoying everything to the max. We've already got the tree up, more lights and ornaments to put up later, and I'm making him dinner tonight...wouldn't even know we're in a depression from my point of view. The memories...

Oh yes, and he has a chow/lab mix named LAO. Great dog.

    Saw Avatar again.
Yep, saw it again. Wow the movie still blows me away, I think its even better the second time around. Go see it already. There are so many different meanings you could draw upon this movie if you wanted, or just enjoy it for being an bitching movie. It does give me some hope at least that another race somewhere out there isnt fucking its world and people over for nothing but money. There are so many other views I have on this and I'm just floored. I will probably drag Eli off to see it this week sometime.

It's the adrenaline rush you feel when you realize how much you just don't give a fuck what the dorks in lizard suits think about you. When "how are you doing" becomes dragon for "do you want to typefuck" and you know this is the totality of your worth to them. You realize no gratification of ego is worth the degregation of your self-respect, when there are so many others who love and respect you.

Translation: I more or less told a semi-popular furry illustrator to go fuck themselves because I don't like people who only come to me asking for pretend sex.

    New Car!
I now have the honor of paying lots of money a month, but this time it is for a new car.

After all the dust settled and the dealership worked with me, I got a pretty good rate and payment to take home a 2010 Mazda Speed3. I'm currently in the process of figuring out a name for the car and the personal license plate as well.

    Japanese import, so japanese naming.
    (Plates)
    Kouu = Rain
AoTora = Aoi + Tora -> Blue tiger
AoRaidn = Aoi + Raiden -> Blue lightning
    (Names)
    -none so far

I can't help but love to drive again, much like I used to drive all over the country before. I just want to be out on the road moving, but in this car I'm behaving really well and driving defensively. That's a first for me, as I want to protect the car from everyone else. :)

However, I opened it up on 35 and 9 and it just rolled like the Miata. It needs better tires, but the stability/traction control system only kicked in once when I there was water and I was in 1st gear climbing this long windy mansion driveway (Went to look at a rental property in the mountains at 84 and 35).

Still need to break in the engine for about 750 more miles and take it auto-crossing and driving/track school (just don't tell my insurance there is a plan to put it on a track; I said I don't have plans to race it when they asked and I don't plan to, just drive it but didn't say where).

The car is very enjoyable, and I think Baja would agree as he owns one as well. I just waited and skipped the 09 and the 10 has the luxury items I wanted. Push button start is such a nice system, and this car is too smart. It won't let me do bad things when I would normally.

So now to a few more pics of it :)

    Getting ready for my trip.
I'm possibly leaving for my new home tonight, and as I've sold/pawned just about everything I own to pay off car and electric bills and all the other good money-sucking stuff that comes with moving, I'm making a last ditch attempt to scrounge some money together.

If anyone's interested in a $20-paypal commission, live, over Open Canvas (free, internet drawing program where people can draw together or just watch others), just message me on AIM ( FredrykVPhox ) tonight, and what character/thing you want me to draw, and paypal info and all that, and I'll give you a link to the program and we can possibly link up for you to watch while I draw your picture.

Just for anybody who's interested, is all.. I appreciate it.

    Daily Presidential Tracking Poll.
    December 18, 2009

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 28% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14

Healthcare: 54% of likely voters say they are opposed to the plan with only 45% in favor. Furthermore, in the all-important category of unaffiliated voters, 58% oppose the bill. That's one of the reasons why so many moderate Democratic House members opposed it.

    How to cut my hair.
I let my hair grow out for a while now, and I'm debating on how to cut it. I dont want to go super short again, but maybe trim up the sides. I have pretty dark brown hair, maybe get the tips bleached... so many options.
